Katy Perry at The Smurfs Premiere in New York

Katy Perry was up to her usual antics on Monday at the exclusive premiere of The Smurfs in New York. She was wearing a sparkly white mini dress with an image of Smurfette on the front of her dress made from sparkling crystals.

Also in attendance at the premiere were Sofia Vergara, Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, George Lopez, Jayma Mays, Tim Gunn and Brooke Shields.

While Katy Perry was easily the most eye-catching, Sofia Vergara looked quite wonderful in sparkling purple Missoni gown. Brooke Shields was perhaps the most demurely dressed of the lot wearing a simple white top and pencil skirt.

As most of our readers will be aware, this is not the first time Katy Perry has worn sexy clothing depicting children's TV show characters. She wore a cleavage exposing Elmo shirt on a skit for Saturday Night Live, this was after Sesame Street stopped a duet she recorded with Elmo for Sesame Street from showing on TV due to her inappropriate dress.
